In a market saturated with predictable, minimalist black-and-white café aesthetics, standing out requires bold creative courage. When 20sips, a fresh specialty coffee shop concept based in Fanar, Lebanon, collaborated with our team, they needed an identity that was energetic, highly memorable, and deeply community-focused.

The Identity: “Sip, Share, Repeat”

The foundational strategy for 20sips anchors on community connection and the daily coffee ritual. We didn’t want the brand to feel clinical or overly rigid. Instead, we designed a custom, thick bubble-letter visual style that feels friendly, tactile, and inherently social.

Visual Brand Assets

  • The Logotype: A playful, customized typography for “20SIPS” integrating a stylized coffee cup and coffee bean silhouette directly into the “0”, creating an immediate visual link to the product.

  • The Palette: A curated, refreshing teal and cerulean blue primary system, balanced with warm, grounded clay/taupe neutrals. This deliberately breaks away from typical dark brown and generic coffee tones.

  • The Slogan: “Sip. Share. Repeat.”—a rhythmic, punchy brand manifesto that speaks directly to the social media generation and university crowds surrounding Fanar.

From Screen to Space: The Interior Execution

A great branding project doesn’t stop at a digital logo guide. For 20sips, the visual identity flows directly into the physical space execution in Fanar.

We matched the vibrant teal brand colors with warm fluted wood paneling on the main coffee bar, creating an inviting contrast. The custom bubble-font signage and statement walls ensure that every corner of the coffee shop acts as an organic, Instagram-friendly backdrop for customers.

Premium Packaging Design

To ensure the brand leaves a lasting impression outside the shop, we engineered a high-impact packaging layout. The striking blue hue wraps seamlessly around custom takeaway cups, accented by the crisp white logotype. Whether walking through a university campus or sitting on an office desk, the packaging serves as a mobile billboard for the café.
