The Concept: Designing the Visual “Crave”
The creative strategy behind Crave focuses entirely on the visceral sensory experience of street food culture. We designed an identity that is loud, tactile, and unapologetically fun.
1. The Dynamic Mascot & Iconography
The centerpiece of the brand is a highly stylized, abstract tongue icon rendered in a fiery orange-red hue, looping through a custom hand-drawn contour. This playful graphic stands as a literal representation of taste, hunger, and satisfaction.
2. The Custom Wordmark
For the “CRAVE” logotype, we developed a heavy, rounded retro font featuring distinct structural underlines. Look closely at the letterforms and you’ll find clever geometric cutouts that subtly mimic teeth or a clean bite mark—adding a layer of storytelling directly into the typography.
3. The Street-Style Palette
We selected an energetic palette dominated by a punchy orange-red and a deep charcoal navy, balanced against crisp white backgrounds. This high-contrast color scheme is chemically proven to stimulate appetite and stands out beautifully under urban streetlights or digital screens.
High-Impact Packaging & Unboxing Experience
For a fast-casual burger shop, the packaging is the primary brand ambassador. Whether a customer is dining in or unboxing a delivery at home, the experience needs to feel premium and intentional.
