How TCA Crafted the Brand Identity for “One Dimension”
Building a brand identity that captures multiple realms of storytelling, gaming, and fantasy is no easy task. When One Dimension (1D) needed a visual identity to reflect their immersive world, they turned to TCA (The Creative Agency) to bring their vision to life.
The Challenge
One Dimension needed a logo system that was versatile, iconic, and deeply rooted in thematic storytelling. The branding had to feel premium yet adaptable—capable of representing everything from tabletop gaming and fantasy creatures (like dragons) to architectural elements and classic gaming iconography.
The Strategy & Execution
At TCA, we took a “from nothing to concept” approach to build an enduring identity system:
The Core Mark (1D): We engineered a bold, geometric “1D” monogram where the letter “D” acts as a doorway or portal. This subtle architectural cutout symbolizes entering “another dimension”.
Modular Iconography: To give the client maximum flexibility across different sub-genres and media, we designed interchangeable center icons inside the “D”—ranging from dice and dragons to classical archways and modern silhouettes.
Visual & Tactical Application: We expanded the visual system across dark/light contrast modes, embossed physical print, and rich cinematic backdrops featuring fantasy artwork and character scenes.
